As an integrative counsellor, I draw on:
• Psychodynamic theory (exploring unconscious processes and early experiences)
• Attachment theory (understanding how your early relationships shape current ones)
• Person-centred theory (offering empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard)
This combination allows us to explore what’s happening for you in the present while understanding its roots in the past.
I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:
Complex trauma
PTSD
Anxiety & depression
Low self-esteem
Grief & loss
Relationship difficulties
Neurodiversity
OCD, addictions, and phobias
I have worked for several charities with both long-term and short-term clients, working with mild to complex cases both online and face-to-face. I am about to embark on a 1-year placement in a secondary school, where I will see children from 11-16 who present with various levels of trauma.
